MAT 150 - Fundamentals of Mathematics (Non-Degree Credit) Class Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Credit Hours: 3
This course includes the following topics: elementary number theory; basic algebra and geometry; English and SI measurements; ratio and proportion; statistics; and graph interpretation. Depending on your placement scores and the time invested in the course, content can potentially cover course material from MAT 031, MAT 032, MAT 101, and MAT 102. A modular learning approach will help students who need developmental classes move more quickly and successfully into college-level classes. Each student will be placed on an individualized “Learning Path.” This is an adaptive type of learning model and outcomes may vary. Successful completion of this course may allow a student to exit Developmental Math.
