This course is an intensive review of the academic reading skills needed for success in a college-level course. Students will demonstrate their understanding of reading as a process and will apply strategies learned to expand their reading comprehension skills. Students will demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge, use context clues, and identify supporting details. A grade of C* or better is required to take .
Prerequisites: Satisfactory Reading placement scores.
