PHS 101 - Physical Science I Class Hours: 3

Credit Hours: 4
This is the first of a sequence of courses in physical science and includes an introduction to science with emphasis on scientific terminology and investigations of the physical world. Topics are selected from astronomy, chemistry, geology, and physics. This course emphasizes chemistry and physics. Laboratory requirement supplements lectures.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory reading and writing placement test scores for ENG 101 or completion of , ENG 103 or and with a grade of C or higher. Satisfactory math placement test scores for MAT 102 or completion of MAT 101 with a grade of C or higher.
