BIO 115 - Basic Microbiology

Class Hours: 2
Lab Hours: 3
Credit Hours: 3

This is a general course in microbiology, including epidemiology, presence, control, and identification of microorganisms. The microorganisms studied will include bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Laboratory requirement supplements lectures.

Prerequisites: Completion of

  or BIO 101  with a grade of C or better.
Note: Credit may not be earned for both BIO 115 and BIO 225 . 

This course will not satisfy any Associate of Science requirements.
