AST 102 - Stellar Astronomy Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Credit Hours: 4
This course is a descriptive survey of the universe with emphasis on basic physical concepts and galactic and extragalactic objects. Related topics of current interest are included in this course. Laboratory requirement supplements lectures.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory placement scores for ENG 101 or ENG 155 and MAT 102 or completion of MAT 101 and either or and . All prerequisite courses require a grade of C or higher.
