AST 101 - Solar System Astronomy Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Credit Hours: 4
This course is a descriptive survey of the universe with emphasis on basic physical concepts and the objects in the solar system. Related topics of current interest are included in the course. Laboratory requirement supplements lectures.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory reading and writing placement test scores for or ENG 155 and MAT 102 , or completion of MAT 101 and either or and . All prerequisite courses require a grade of C or higher. (UNIVERSITY TRANSFER)
