This is an introductory biology course, unifying biology concepts and principles at all levels. This course is for non-AS majors and allied health students. A lab is required. Topics include basic biochemistry, the cell concept and cellular processes, genetics, evolution and taxonomy.
Prerequisites: Reading and writing placement scores for or completion of , , or , with a grade of C or higher.
Note: High school biology and chemistry are strongly recommended. This course cannot be used for an AS degree.
