Pre-Dental Hygiene Certificate

Description

The Dental Hygiene program prepares students to work as clinical assistants, receiving and preparing patients for dental treatment; assisting chairside, taking x-rays, making temporary crowns and pouring/trimming impressions for study models. The program also includes office management skills such as making appointments, maintaining patient records, filing, and client services. The Pre-Dental Hygiene coursework at TCTC prepares students to transfer to GTC’s Dental Hygiene program through an articulation agreement.
