University Transfer

The University Transfer cluster is designed for students who plan to begin a bachelor’s pathway at TCTC and seamlessly transfer to a four-year college or university. Students will complete core general education requirements and foundational courses in a chosen field, saving significantly on tuition while receiving a high-quality education.

This cluster is exclusively comprised of academic credit programs, as its sole purpose is to provide transferable college credits in the Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) programs. These degrees include comprehensive general education courses and specific prerequisite courses aligned with common university majors, ensuring learner credits transfer to a four-year institution. University Transfer Credit Programs

For students whose ultimate goal is a bachelor’s degree, the University Transfer academic programs offer a strategic and cost-effective first step. They provide the college credits needed to build a strong foundation before transferring to a four-year institution.

Note: Credits from non-credit programs do not transfer to academic bachelor’s degrees. While learners may take non-credit courses for personal enrichment alongside a transfer degree, these courses do not count toward the transfer pathway.
