The Education cluster provides students with foundational knowledge and practical experience in early care and education. Programs emphasize child development across physical, intellectual, social, and emotional domains, as well as strategies for creating age-appropriate learning environments. Graduates are prepared for careers that support lifelong learning and development in diverse educational settings.

What’s the Difference Between Credit and Non-Credit?

Education programs offer a strong academic foundation for individuals pursuing careers in teaching, childcare management, or educational support services. Each area of study is designed to integrate theoretical principles with applied learning experiences. Coursework focuses on child development, instructional strategies, and inclusive practices, preparing students for entry-level roles in educational settings or transfer to four-year institutions for advanced study and teacher certification.
